This presentation/discussion will focus on essential parenting skills for our fast-moving pop culture. We will discuss how media can influence a child intellectually and emotionally and how a positive parent/child relationship can lessen the negative effects.
• Understand how the media can effect your children’s educational and emotional development
• Discover tools to deal with new parenting challenges in our pop culture
• Appreciate that children need time for quiet and introspection to develop a sense of self
• Learn how to develop a healthy and positive relationship with your children so they can establish their self identity
